“I m really busy,Can I call you back “was excuse he was used to hear .Anirudh had called Tejal like always .Most of the time she didn’t pick up his phone. When she picked, the conversation didn't last more than five minutes as she was too busy . But his  regret was that .She never called him out of her own . We all were busy but Anirudh made the point to call her whenever he felt like .She never did .She didn't want to speak to him it was quite evident .But she denied this whenever Anirudh brought it up. Action spoke louder than words. She didn’t speak much to him. she had the time for everyone but him .It hurt Anirudh at some level .It felt like rejection .It felt like someone passing the judgement without knowing the fact .But its was not her fault after all .

Tejal and Anirudh met as part of project. Though it was brief encounter Anirudh really liked her .She was not what traditionally be called stunning .She wont attract you attention if she is passing by .She was no head tuner. But beauty lies in eyes of beholder. Where others overlooked her ,Anirudh fell in for among other things her innocent smile. Never knew why you call it love at first sight. When they first met Anirudh knew she was special . You need not be the most beautiful girl to make someone fall in love She was a smart and confident. She had varied interest, evident by limited discussion Anirudh had with her. She was outgoing but didn’t open up to Anirudh.

Anirudh on other end was turning paranoid about love till he met tejal .He had everything going for him on professional front .He had built his career through hard work .Struggled all his life to make to Good Life where even his friend envy. Anirudh had many friends who loved him. You are perfect husband, quipped many . But he was unlucky in term for companion . His best friend wondered why he was single .He was everything a girl would like .He was  simple , down to earth but his shyness overawed his friendliness .

Anirudh was getting restless Tejal had stoned walled his advances which was quite evident .But he was day by day kept thinking of her more and more .this first thoughts of the day and last one were about her ,He had decided not to talk to her many times . But then, seeing her innocent smile made him go weak on his knees. He had kept his ego aside only for tejal .In the past no one got away with that kind of behaviour .Any non friendly behaviour and he would have shut the person out of life forever .But even he was surprised that even after soo many “Not Interested “ signs ,he was still calling her trying to make the conversation .Trying to know her more .trying to tell her how much he cared for her.

It was mid winter . Anirudh was browsing through market for routine shopping .When Anirudh noticed shops laced with Everything Red .There were teddy bears ,heart cut outs announcing It Valentines Day . He genuinely felt the vacuum in his life . He wanted buy those gifts for someone .

He was waiting for train to take him home. But his thoughts were still stuck on Tejal. There were hundred of girls passing through but he just wished that object of his affection walked through .When you pray with all the might even  angels grant you your wish .At that precise moment ,He saw Tejal Walking towards him .He didn’t have words .He was awestruck .The train was approaching .Tejal passed through him  not noticing the eager eyes .Like in life she was failing in accepting the love someone had for her . Anirudh didn’t have any regret ,This was just perfect for him. Just sight of your beloved is blessing when you really love someone .It was more than he would ask for on valentines day .It was just what he wished for ,he was content . Anirudh and Tejal boarded the same train home .Anirudh was feeling the warmth .Just the feeling of travelling in same train was making him happy . He felt the connection , With train they were heading towards same direction it was taking them to their destination ,even though for different reason, their path have crossed .
